WHY FAMILIES PICK GREAT TIMES
Three things that have not changed since 1978
A FAMILY BUSINESS
The same family has run Great Times since 1978. Campers here grow up and come back as staff, and plenty of our parents went to camp on this same property themselves.
TEACHERS, NOT TEENAGERS
Our group leaders are state-certified teachers — 32 of them — rather than high school or young college kids. A CPR and first-aid certified nurse is on duty every hour camp is open.
NO ADD-ON FEES
Lunch, afternoon snack, every weekly trip, the camp shirt, the camp bag and the camp picture are all in the tuition. There is no separate trip fee and no activity fee.
SWIM. PLAY. EXPLORE.
A camp day runs 9:15 AM – 3:30 PM
Eight periods fill a day: two in the water, two creative, two sports, lunch together, and one the group chooses. Campers stay with their own age group all day, led by the same certified teacher.
Swimming is three lessons a week in the pool, tested and taught in small groups, plus free swim every single day with a buddy check.
LOWER CAMP
Ages 3–6
Preschool through 1st grade
Groups of 8 to 12 with a certified teacher, an aide and a junior staff member. A 40-minute rest in air conditioning every afternoon.

Groups of 18 to 22 with a certified teacher and an aide. Boating and archery join the week, and trips start running with the older campers.

UPPER CAMP
Ages 9–15
5th grade and up
Mornings are swimming, sports and arts with the group. Every afternoon is the camper's own choice, picked fresh each day.

Any camper who would rather not go on a trip stays at camp that day and follows the normal activity schedule.
Summer 2027 dates are provisional and follow the 2026 calendar. Call the office to confirm before you book time off.

Science & Nature Camp
A week on the trails and at the lake — leaf collection, fossil making, wildlife.
Week 6
Fishing Camp
A week built around the dock and the 25-acre lake.
Either week can be swapped for the traditional program. Specialty Camp is not recommended for a camper's first summer.
WHAT TUITION COVERS
There is no second invoice
- Daily hot lunch, with PB&J or turkey and cheese always available
- Afternoon snack every day
- Every weekly trip and special event — no separate trip fee

- All 42 activities, including swimming, the ropes course and the zip-line
- A certified nurse on duty during camp hours
GETTING TO CAMP
Six options, from parent drop-off to full door-to-door service, so the camp day fits the work day.
- Door-to-door pick-up and drop-off in 16-passenger air-conditioned vans
- Serving South Jersey — call the office to check your street
- Morning extended care from 7:30 AM, afternoon until 5:45 PM
- One-way options if only one end of the day is a problem
- Bus counselors ride along on the large buses

Three, four or five days a week · 2-week minimum · 9 weeks available · Camp opens June 21, 2027 (provisional)
Enrollment in each session is limited so groups stay small — some weeks and transportation options sell out before spring.
Ways to pay less
- 10% off tuition for each additional child
- $100 credit for families new to Great Times
- $100 for active or retired military, and on-duty police and fire
- 2% off the total when tuition is paid in full by February 15
- $30 for every family you refer who enrolls
- Childcare vouchers accepted
